Color - A bright, vibrant salmon-pink hue, over ruby-red reflections, with generous, persistent bubbles. Bouquet - Intense and harmonious. Ripe summer fruit aromas of wild strawberries, raspberries and redcurrants mingle with nuances of sweet spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg. On pouring, a bouquet of fresh-baked brioche, sweet buns and fresh cream emerges, followed by hints of wild roasted almonds and warmed mandarin peel on the finish. Taste - Opulent, concentrated, and infinitely silky, this champagne’s elegant perfume and velvet bubbles caress the palate. Generous, ripe and full-bodied in the mouth and bursting with rich, red fruit flavors. Delicately structured for exemplary length, the finish is delicate and refined, with subtle gingerbread aromas.
Vinous 92 points - (58% Chardonnay and 42% Pinot Noir; 3.5 g/l dosage; L329 9160): Light, orange-tinged pink. Lively spice- and mineral-accented red berry and citrus fruits on the nose, with a hint of cherry pit adding depth. Vibrant and precise on the palate, offering tangy, refreshingly bitter-edged blood orange and strawberry flavors. Clean, focused and stony on the dry, penetrating, persistent finish, which leaves a suave honeysuckle note behind. -- Josh Raynolds (Jan 2015)

Founded in A in 1584 by Pierre Gosset, Gosset is the oldest wine house in Champagne. It also remains one of the most prestigious, considered by many collectors and connoisseurs as the world’s preeminent name in luxury champagne.
Wine maker notes
Gosset’s reputation for excellence starts on the vines. Its champagnes are composed almost entirely of grapes from Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards. Unlike most champagne producers, this illustrious wine house purposely avoids malolactic fermentation and always performs riddling and disgorging of prestige cuvees and large-format bottles by hand. Gosset champagnes are made with infinite care and kept in deep cellars for at least three years - and up to five or more for vintage and prestige cuvees - before release.

Technical notes
58% Chardonnay; 35% Pinot Noir (plus 7% red wine from Ambonnay and Bouzy) A blend of three different harvests, including 10% reserve wines. The wine spends an average of 4 years resting on the lees prior to release. Sourced from Grand and Premier Crus vineyards. For Chardonnay: Avize, Chouilly, Cramant, Mesnil Sur Oger, Trepail, Vertus and Villers Marmery; For Pinot Noir: A , Ambonnay, Bouzy, Verzenay, Rilly la Montagne.

Food pairing
This elegant champagne is the perfect companion to a wide variety of dishes. Try with fish like bass and dory garnished with rich spices, olives, tomatoes or elaborate sauces, as well as small game, including pheasant, rabbit and venison. Also enjoy with desserts made with berries and other fresh fruits.
