Chateau Vignot’s vineyards are located near the charming village of Saint-Émilion, France. These vineyards lie at the foot of the “Cote de Saint-Émilion”. The alluvial soils of sandy clay and gravel of the Chateau Vignot vineyards, coupled with ideal southwest sun exposure, allow the fruit to develop an extraordinary aromatic expressiveness, particularly for Cabernet Franc and Merlot.
Nurturing this relationship between ideal sun exposure, the soil, the vines and the elements, Vigneron Pierre Seillan and his daughter Helene produce wines that are deep in color, approachable and elegant, and exhibit a more “feminine” style of mature round tannins and silky texture than their counterparts up the slope. The wines are meant to be enjoyed upon release or cellared to enjoy over 5-7 years.
