Wine maker notes
The grapes for the Pago de Valdoneje Joven are manuallyharvested from the clay and sandy soils of the estate’s Mencia vines that reach over eighty-five years of age. Fermentation and aging occur in stainless steel tanks to preserve the fruit-driven characteristics of the wine.

Food pairing
A fresh and clean wine, it is delicious on a hot day slightly chilled with grilled meats and grilled vegetables. It is also wonderful as an aperitif enjoyed with smoked meats and cheeses, Cured beef Carpaccio, lamb with pea, mint and feta dressing, chicken shawarma or haloumi cheese gyro.
