Wine Advocate 87 points - The 2011 JME has a more subtle, finer nose that requires some coaxing to start showing notes of licorice, black pepper and prunes. The palate is fleshy, with some chunky, slightly rustic tannins that will require some more time in the bottle to get polished. Drink 2015-2019. (Dec 2013)

JME goes very well with red meats, and with cured and semi-cured cheeses. Ideal for “tapas” and all kind of appetizers.
