Wine Spectator 93 points - A lovely rose in an almost vinous style, with mouthwatering acidity and a fine, lacy mousse carrying appealing flavors of ripe raspberry, white cherry fruit, star anise, mandarin orange peel and honeysuckle. Lightly chalky on the lasting finish. Enjoy with food. Drink now through 2020.-A.N.  (Sep 14 2016)

Vinous 92 points - (45% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir and 25% Pinot Meunier; 8 g/l dosage; L206454 17741): Pale orange. High-pitched red berry, orange zest and jasmine aromas, with suave mineral and smoky lees notes adding complexity. Spicy and precise on the palate, showing very good punch to its strawberry and bitter cherry flavors. Opens up smoothly with air and picks up a bitter rhubarb quality that lingers onto the long, tightly focused finish. This bottling showed more brawny character than many past renditions of this cuvee, but with no lack of vivacity.  (Jan 2015)

James Suckling 94 points - An subtle nose with plenty of fine autolysis aromas of fresh bread and sweetly fragrant yeasty notes, plus some gentle spice and chalky notes. The palate unleashes beautiful wild strawberry fruit flavors, super fresh, fleshy and pure. Great balance and depth. Drink now.  (Jul 2015)

Wine Enthusiast 94 points - Such an elegant, ethereal wine, this orange-pink wine is dry and crisp with fruity raspberry flavor at the fore. This particular bottling could improve for a year, but makes a great food Champagne now.  (Dec 2013)

Wine Advocate 89 points - The NV Brut Rose is a pretty, gracious wine. Freshly cut roses, red berries and spices take shape nicely in the glass as the wine shows off its understated, timeless personality. Billecart-Salmon?s NV Brut Rose is a reliably tasty wine. This is Lot L26712406690A. Disgorged September 2010. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2014. (Nov 2011)

Review
The production secrets and the vinification method of this cuvée go back to the origins of the House of BILLECART-SALMON and have been handed down for seven generations. The Brut Rosé is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir vini?ed as red wine. Appearance: Its pale and bright pink colour is adorned with warm glints of gold and its delicate slowly rising bubbles give it a persistent mousse. Aroma: This cuvée unveils a subtle aroma leading to an elegant, delicate bouquet of ?ne notes of red fruits and zest of citrus fruits. Palate: Its special method of vinification gives this cuvée a light, elegant flavour, followed by a fresh finish with a taste of raspberry. Serving: This rosé champagne is an ideal partner as an aperitif and can also accompany a dish of wild salmon or sushi. For dessert, it will add a sublime touch to red fruit flavours.
