Color: vivid red ruby.

Scent: ethereal, intense with hints of wild berries, peach and noble wood.

Taste: full, harmonic, considerably persistent and reasonably tannic.

Serve with wild fowl, meat and sauces even elaborated, and mature cheese.

Wine Enthusiast A must-try blend of two indigenous grapes, Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio. Red cherry and plum is backed by delicate almond-paste, licorice and toast notes. Has a solid structure with drying tannins over a long finish, thanks to steel fermentation and 18 months of aging in French oak.
