Bernard Morey Beaune Greves 2001
Even deeper color than the Clos Rousseau. Ripe nose, some toasty oak, too. Very ripe fruit that has some round, silky fruit. Some milk chocolate on the finish. Wine Spectator A full-bodied, powerful red, exuding coffee, black cherry and tar aromas and flavors matched to vivid acidity and stiff tannins. Turns tough on the finish, with a menthol note and slight heat. Best from 2006 through 2015. Score: 87. —Bruce Sanderson, 2005.All sizes are 750mL unless otherwise noted. |
