More European in style than Californian, restrained use of oak and limited stirring during sur lies aging allows the tropical and pineapple fruit flavors to flourish. Vanilla aromas, sweet oak flavors and a subtle cream texture from the sur lies aging and malolactic fermentation, give the wine a delicious mouthfeel and lengthy finish. Crisp and refreshing on the palate, this delicious food wine is a delightful accompaniment to all fish and pasta dishes, or as an aperitif.

This wine opened to a plethora of scents featuring jasmine, nutmeg, wet stone and allspice. The fruit is carefully selected from their estate vineyards (Spanos Berberian and Dillon) and then blended with some Oak Knoll fruit from Chevlan Vineyard. A quarter (23%) is aged in oak with the balance processed in stainless steel. The result is freshness highlighted by mineral notes, vanilla, tropical fruit and honeysuckle. Luxurious mid-palate with a lengthy finish.
