Athair Russian River Valley Chardonnay 2006
Our first offering of a Chardonnay is made from Sonoma County grapes, located in the western part of the Russian River Valley. The fruit came from the famous Bacigalupi Vineyard, with the harvest taking place in early September, at full maturity, to bring out the ripe flavors of Bartlett Pear and Honeydew Melon. This would be a perfect pairing with Halibut or Petrale Sole, topped with a mango chutney, or just served chilled on a hot summer's eve. All sizes are 750mL unless otherwise noted. |
