This 100% Cabernet Franc from old low-yielding vines is dark, ripe and driven, displaying candied apple, tobacco, and violet notes. This wine oozes balance, as the tannins and acidity are perfectly in-sync. Thierry Germain, the winemaker, has earned a very loyal following in France and his wines are in very high demand. A proven track record with Wine Spectator, the 2005 vintage received an outstanding 92-point score.
