Yes, this is Italian Pinot Grigio … from the Italian Alps in northern Italy near the Austrian Border. The winery takes advantage of higher elevation and south facing slopes. As well, they have been making wine here for several hundred years. This is truly great Pinot Grigio: good fruit, lots of body and one of the few wines (in my opinion) that will pair well with asparagus.
