I guess it lacks the sweetness some might be seeking, but I reckon this is full bonza cabernet style. It tastes like blackcurrent, toast, vanilla and dust, but it’s the personality of it that makes me smile – and want to keep drinking it. This screams ‘I am cabernet, and I am proud’. It’s really good juice. Drink 2008-2012. Score: 90

Ripe and focused, with a beam of cherry and savory flavors that are nicely shaded by hints of allspice and white pepper as the finish lingers against a gentle grip of tannins. Drink now through 2015.
