This is Gundlach Bundschu’s Bordeaux blend featuring fruit from their steep hillside terraces. Mainly Merlot (54%) and Cabernet (38%) with dollops of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. It has a nice bouquet followed with flavors of plum, anise, vanilla and espresso. No devastating tannins here … just a lush, creamy elegant blend with a great finish. One of the finest Bordeaux blends from California I have ever had!
